Created by our friends at Charm Bar in Brooklyn. This simple cocktail is great for chilly nights or when you need an extra dose of nostalgia for nights at summer camp.
1/4 cup water
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup of your favorite mallows
2 oz of Hinky Dink’s Workingman’s Rye Whiskey
1/2 oz of marshmallow simple syrup
2 dashes of black walnut bitters
You’ll want to make the simple syrup of brown sugar and marshmallows ahead of time, but trust us the extra effort is absolutely worth it.
Once the simple syrup is made, combine it with Hinky Dink’s Workingman’s Rye Whiskey and bitters in a rocks glass.
Using a bamboo cocktail skewer, place a marshmallow on the rim on the glass and lightly toast it with a kitchen torch.
For extra chilly nights, warm up the cocktail prior to serving.
